About Natalie Spinella

From an early age, my interest surrounding the medical field and the ability to improve the lives of others was ascertained. The joy produced with each small opportunity to lend a helping hand led me to pursue a lifelong goal dedicated to serving others.

I began my nursing career at the age of 20 and gained valuable experience treating patients across the lifespan. I went on to pursue a graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and I am now a master’s-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner.

Working in healthcare, I have the daily opportunity to make lasting impressions on members of society. I value developing therapeutic relationships with patients and working as a team to best meet their individualized needs.

I strongly believe that patients are the best historians, and active listening is a simple, but necessary skill. My philosophy as a Family Nurse Practitioner is to provide holistic, patient-centered care in a manner that fosters shared decision making, health literacy and overall wellbeing.
